Michelle Levitz - Licensed Tour Guide
I’m Michelle Levitz – originally from New Jersey, and for the past 20 years, from the historic and picturesque Zichron Yaakov, where I live with my husband of 33 years (we married young) and raised our three daughters. I grew up in a modern Orthodox household that warmly welcomed everyone, and I spent my summers with my Yemenite grandparents in Israel.
I am a former lawyer who has spent the past twenty years exploring the country through my passions: hiking the Israel National Trail, off road biking, Israeli music, touring wineries and small farms, cooking and tasting the ethnic diversity represented in the modern Israeli food scene.
Many years ago, I finally decided to change my passion to my day job and started the process to become a licensed tour guide. It was more challenging than the NY and NJ bar exams!
With every tour I incorporate my passions and share aspects of everyday life in Israel. I can’t wait to introduce you to the Israel I love, and show you how her ancient and modern facets are deeply relevant to our lives today. I look forward to planning your next Israel trip.
